Walloped in less than 1 minute!

Lai, Cicak and Abner came to my house today to learn how to bake a cheese cake, help up a bit here and there and also to eat it, of course.

Besides that, Abner came to show me the Samsung phone la.. Have to camwhore a bit for him also. Am waiting for pics from all 3 of them on the process of baking the cake hehehe.. Although I can't eat eggs yet, I have to taste it since they kept on saying it's so good and all. Yea, I have to admit that it's the best cheese cake I made so far :)

Actually have to wait for the cake to cool down for an hour before putting it into the fridge and then only eat it. But I guess the fragrant from the cake is too much for them to bear that they had to eat it right after I took it out from the oven. So it's still very soft laaaa... Meanwhile, this pic below is from my beloved Sony Ericsson phone *drools*

Accident

Urgh yeah.. After driving for so many years accident-free, I got myself into an accident few days ago. Probably because I didn't drive for quite some time since being hospitalised? *blame blame blame* Ah, no worries, it was nothing major. I was left unhurt but my car tyre burst and came off. At least I had an excuse to change new tyres, realignment, repair one of the doors (couldn't open from the outside) and service my car as well. The handsome young boss gave me discount and even asked his staffs to wash and vacuum my car for FREE. Nice kan?

MIFA M-IFW 2008 Launching

UPDATED: The launching photos are posted at my new blog.

Yesterday was the launching for M-IFW (Malaysia-International Fashion Week) 2008 organised by MIFA at The Gardens, Mid Valley. The launching showcased designs made by Malaysian fashion designers, most of them well established.

I was there for make up, display and backstage photography for Make Up Store and at the same time to get my hands on the MIFA Style KL magazine to see our work for last year's M-IFW. I was very disappointed with the magazine though. This issue is very different from the previous years which had a thicker content and better quality paper and print. The pictures that all 7 of us OP (Official Photographer) took was A LOT! We worked so hard for days but only a few pictures was shown and the whole magazine only has 36 pages comparing to 108 pages for year 2006 magazine! Tsk.. tsk.. Besides, we were supposed to have OUR PICTURE in it but we ended up only to have our names printed. Sigh...

Ok, will show some of the pictures of the launching soon. Toodles~

Euphoric

I love driving. I really do. Today is the first time I got back to driving again since my surgery. The car has not been moved at all for a week. No one to even ram it a little. I think my car has been suffering from loneliness and had waited so impatiently for my return hehehehe..

I felt so happy just by unlocking the car, the steering lock and then drove it over to my friend's place to get something. It's the freedom and speed that I missed so much oh yeah~ My driving is not for the faint-hearted hahaha! You'll understand if you're lucky enough to have me doing the driving ;)

Another thing I'm feeling elated about is the MIFA fashion show that'll be happening at The Gardens, Mid Valley. I'll be there for some make up photo shoot at the backstage and then later at night at the runway~ Weeeee~~ It's going to be fun! :)

I miss you so much my dearest car, camera, japanese foods, someone and yoga~~~ I really miss you~~~~ *sobs*

Pics of self :D

Fooling around in the museum (Singapore trip, 2 weeks before surgery).

Camwhore in the car. That's the complimentary gift I got from Levi's ® for covering the Levi's ® Lady Style Eyewear event held at Maison in December 2006. Worth almost RM400 and it came inside a beautiful white box too :D Cantik, kan?

It's a small world after all...

The world is big yet small. There has been a lot of surprises lately. One of it being TAB so happened to be my close friend's step cousin HAHAHAHAHA!! I knew it only few days ago when my friend and I were talking about Japanese foods, how much we loved the food, how much I'm going to miss the foods after my surgery and also the Japanese restaurant we were talking about were owned by her aunt's ex husband, which is TAB's dad! SURPRISE! SURPRISE!! After knowing TAB and my close friend for so many years, I never thought they were actually step cousins!

Tadaima~

Tadaima minnasan~ I was just discharged from SJMC this afternoon. Operation was successful. The experience was great but I will never wanna experience it again teeheehee! My 2 days hospital stay was great too. I'm really touched to see all of you who came by to visit me during and after office hours. Some even came 2 days in a row :) Thanks for all the bouquet of flowers, cards, fruits, health supplements and magazines hahahaha! I feel like a star~ :P And a warning to those who shot my pictures, please do not post it anywhere because I'm going to kill you if you do! :P

I was so scared and nervous while waiting lying down on the bed in the cold room outside the operating theatre until when I saw my childhood friend, Kim Jon, who just came back from Canada last week, came in (I don't know how me made the nurses let him in since that is a prohibited area) and talk to me for a few minutes that I felt relaxed a little. After that I was pushed into the operating theatre filled with music (it was classical music LOL!) and then I was asked to climb over from the bed I was lying on to lie down on the operating table. I was then told by the anesthetist that she'll be injecting the anesthetic to put me to sleep while another nurse let me breathe in oxygen. In about 1-2 seconds, I'm asleep but I still see blurry images of them walking around and everything was like fast forward. After what felt like 3 seconds, I woke up again feeling a sharp pain below my belly and the doctor was asking if I felt a lot of pain. My mouth was opened but I couldn't talk. I could only nod my head yes and no.

Mango and Kim Jon was waiting for me outside at the waiting room and both of them didn't know each other and also the fact that they were actually waiting for the same person LOL! It was really funny and weird for me to see them both together because both of them were once the love of my life :P

Was the hospital stay boring? I thought it would be boring before I was admitted but at the end it wasn't. I really enjoyed it. WHY? It's because these 2 days really does give me a good rest from work and all the stress although it was hard for me to even walk and go pee on my own on the first night LOL! I had great fun getting to eat my breakfast, lunch, and dinner ON THE BED (can't do that at home wei!). I can lie down on my bed all day watching TV, having cute and friendly nurses came by to check on me every few hours, having people come by to visit me (it's like a gathering and business talk LOL) and Yuki-san even brought her MacBook over to let me get online hahahaha!!

Yesterday night was real fun. It felt like we had a slumber party, watching American Idol and other programs together till late and I'm really happy to see Abner again :) Kor, can't give you huggies yesterday as my body is still very much in pain LOL! Be good ok? Bake cheesecake for you when I'm fully recovered, me promise~ :D **pray fat uncle skunk doesn't read this post**

It was really sweet, all of you, really.. all who sms-ed, called and visited me. I especially really really appreciate Mango for being with me throughout the entire operation, declining and postponing his jobs and also having sleepless nights taking care of me for 2 days and 2 nights during my hospitalisation :)

So yeah, the doctor gave me MC for 2 weeks! I'm gonna be away from work for 2 weeks! Hooray!!! Pity my Art Directors and Junior Designers for following up on my current and upcoming projects. Ganbatte ne you guys? :)

The time has come...

Today's the day. Let's pray for safety and fast recovery. Pray also for the steadiness in the hands of the 50+ years old man who's gonna operate me.

Everyone asked if I'm scared. Sometimes I tell them I'm alright but most of the time I said I'm scared, depending on who I'm talking to. Of course I'm scared! Generally, I don't like the idea of being put under general anesthesia. It's very disturbing. I don't think I have a choice now do I? LOL! All I gotta do is to embrace it~ A friend tried to calm me down, "It's nice. You get high and you pass out." <------ I really have nothing to say LOL!

Days before today, I gave thought on a lot of things. Things that matters a lot to me in my life. I am nervous and scared mahhhhhhhhh. That's because I don't have a good feeling about this surgery. Felt so uneasy and uncomfortable. Maybe I worry too much.

Some people tell me, "Don't worry laaaa... Just a minor surgery only..." but to me, anything that requires me to be put under general anesthesia is not minor LOL! Geeee... you guys ain't helping much don't you? I don't like people telling me how minor it is. Complications might happen during surgery. I don't like the feeling of uncertainty. Uncertain whether I will wake up again or not. I know my own body. It's not a very strong body. Sigh...

People tell me to sleep early... I can't. Not that I don't want to... I just can't. I think I can only sleep peacefully after I wake up from the anesthetic. I so wish to see you now but...

Anyways, I LOVE YOU very much. I always do. You're always in my heart. Remember that :)
